A teenager who was assaulted in a Windsor nightclub in the early hours of this morning is in hospital.
The 19-year-old man was attacked with what police described as a 'sharp object' after an altercation with another man inside the first floor toilets of Liquid nightclub in William Street.
He sustained cuts to the left side of his neck in the incident at 2.30am and was taken to Wexham Park Hospital for treatment.
His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening and he remains in a stable condition.
Detective sergeant Steve Witts, who is leading the investigation, said an investigation had been launched to establish the cause of the incident.
“The club was extremely busy when the incident happened and we are keen to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the assault or has any information about the offender,” he added. "We are working closely with the club to identify the person responsible.”
